Becky

About me:

Hi, my name is Becky. I’m a team member of the Birch group and have been working at Kenwood since 2022. I really enjoy working with young children, as I’ve been around them throughout my life. I have seven nephews and nieces, and I love watching them learn and grow through both indoor and outdoor play.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with young children. So, after finishing school, I went to college and studied childcare at levels 2 and 3, eventually gaining my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education. During my time at college, I worked in a few indoor nurseries and schools. After college, I worked in an indoor nursery for a few years. Then, I decided to try something new and experienced Forest School for the first time. I immediately loved it. It was incredible to watch the children learn and grow while surrounded by nature, using their imagination as they played and came up with new ideas.

I still love working at the nursery and have gained a lot of experience since joining. I’ve also recently completed my Level 3 Forest School qualification.

In my spare time, I go on long walks with my fiancé and our dog, Jessie. We spend a lot of time together outside of work, watching movies, visiting new places, and going out with friends. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new places together.
