About me:

Hi, my name is Ellis, and I’m a member of the Birch group with a big love for nature and wellbeing. I bring these values into my daily life through activities like ice baths, yoga, hikes in the Peak District, and weekend wellness retreats. Society is moving at a fast pace, and I believe the next generation of children should be grounded and connected to nature to help develop them in life, rather than just through mainstream learning. I love watching children use their imagination and find joy in the simplest things in life.

This is my first time working in childcare, but I can honestly say I’ve welcomed it with open arms and enjoy every day I spend at Kenwood Nature Nursery. I’m currently working towards my Level 3 Early Years Education qualification and plan to pursue my Forest School qualification next.
