About me
Hello, I’m Sophie, and I’m the Room Leader of the Willow Room. I’ve been working at Kenwood Nature Nursery since September 2018. This was my first job after leaving college that same year. While I was at college, I gained experience working in indoor nurseries and schools, but I had never experienced Forest School before—so I was excited to try something new.
Since joining Kenwood, I’ve progressed from Practitioner to Room Leader and have completed my Forest School training, which I now use with the children every day. It’s been amazing to learn how Forest School settings operate, and I’ve loved watching the children grow and develop over the past few years.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my partner and my family. We love going on holidays, taking day trips, and trying out new restaurants together. As a nursery team, we also enjoy going on days out and having meals together. When I’m not spending time with others, I like to relax at home, watch movies and TV shows, and unwind.
