About Me
Hi, my name is Joanna or Jo. I’m a mother of one awesome daughter and live in Barnsley with her and my partner. Born and raised in Sheffield, since as long as I remember I have wanted to work with children and my passion only grew as I did. My first job out of college was in agency work working in schools and nurseries, I loved my work but always wished for something more permanent.
When I came to Middlewood I had never been in a forest school setting before, I couldn’t imagine leaving now because I’ve found a wonderful place with amazing people to work with. Forest schools has shown me so many different opportunities which I can take to into play with the children, learning as they learn and embracing my creativity and imagination outdoors.
